This takes only 20 minutes to make the recipe. The success of this recipe lies in the quality of the tomatoes. Fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes taste so good. I use sausage because of the seasoning and the higher fat content which keeps the meatballs from drying out. Fennel seeds go very well with pork.
You can add another herb like thyme, oregano, parmesan cheese, and make up your own recipe with your favorite ingredients. Use what you have to be creative.

Ingredients
- Tomato sauce
- 3 lb1 36 kg (1.5 plum tomatoes
- 2 fillets of anchovies

- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- sea salt

- 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Tomato sauce
- in a cooking pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil and garlic until the garlic begins to sizzle. about 2 minutes.

- A large bowl adds sausage, the bread crumbs, season with sea salt and fresh ground pepper add the fennel seeds, mixing with your hands until everything is just combined.
- Don’t over mix here or it’ll make the meatballs tough. The mixture should be very moist but still. Hold its shape when rolled into large meatballs.
