Nowadays there are films that consist of a lot of throw-away comments or ambitious banter, so when Dave Bautistamakes Jason Momoa propose to make a movie with him that says someone doesn’t want to do that. Bautista has seen a meteoric rise in his career since he became known for playing Drax in Marvels Guardian of the Galaxy, appears in Zack Snyders Army of the Dead on Netflix and will soon appear in the remake of dunebut he’s also been pretty open about letting people know what kind of films he wants to make and which ones he doesn’t.
In a recent Twitter post, Bautista shared with a fan that he would love to play a role in a. would take over Star Trek Show or movie, but he had absolutely no interest in starring Dwayne Johnson and John Cena. However, there is one person he would love to work with again and that is Jason Momoa. The couple can be seen together in dune, and have already played on the Apple TV + Show,See. But Bautista has not only announced that he wants to do something with Momoa, he actually has a whole plan and just wants to leave it open so that someone will be aware of it.

Bautista revealed in a recent interview that he was on the verge of bankruptcy when he was offered the role of Drax, but despite the role that makes him a superstar, there are some aspects of the character that he thinks is Marvel’s are and be underdeveloped in the Guardians films Infinity war Appearance. He’ll be in next year Thor: love and thunderbefore appearing as Drax in for possibly his last time Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.3.
“That role changed my life path,” Bautista told Collider. “It will always be special to me. Now that I have four films in … I really wish they had personally invested more in Drax. Because I think Drax has more history to tell. I think Drax has a really interesting backstory that they threw the ball at. That’s not a thing on Marvel. They had their slate, I know what they’re focusing on, that’s what they planned. But man, I think they really missed the ball on Drax. He has such a great backstory. “
Selfishly, as a performer, that would have given me the opportunity to show different sides of Drax emotionally. And physically too. Because if you notice Drax, even though he looks like a badass, look at him and he looks scary, but Drax gets more ass kicked than any other Marvel character … They have the whole ‘destroyer’ thing just thrown away the window … people just so fell in love with the comedic side of Drax that they tapped that, then they tapped it some more, then they really dug a hole in it. But we missed a huge boat on this character and I don’t think it will ever come up again. But I’m really just looking forward to finishing this whole trip. “
While his days as Drax may almost be over, who knows what might happen if his wish for a Jason Momoa sidekick franchise comes true, and judging by the reactions on Twitter, there are plenty behind such a project would stand.
