Foo Fighters hit mainstream rock airplay for the first time in July 1995 with “This Is a Call”, which peaked at number 6 in August. When “Fire” entered the top 10 this July, it became the 28th Foo Fighters Top 10 and joined the band with Tom Petty (solo and with the Heartbreakers) for the most top 10 in the charts.
“Fire” rules the Rock & Alternative Airplay charts for a fourth week with 6.1 million viewers, up 5%, according to MRC Data; ranked 4th on Adult Alternative Airplay (after reaching 3rd place); and ranks 12th on Alternative Airplay.
Medicine at midnight debuted at number 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart in February and has earned 177,000 equivalent album units to date.
