Today we’re talking to the only Nacho Baños in Valencia, Spain. Baños is the mastermind behind Nacho Guitars, “The Blackguard Book” and the monumental new “Pinecaster Book”.

If you’ve ever seen Julian Lage at his “Nachcaster” and wondered who did it, this episode is for you. We hear of nachos early infatuation with American music; how he started buying and selling instruments while attending college in Boston; and why he started writing what would become “The Blackguard Book” in 2003.
We learn more about the production team behind Nacho Guitars and how he almost retired from guitar making when he (temporarily) couldn’t get hold of decent swamp ash. He also explains the reasons for ‘The Pinecaster Book’, his most ambitious publishing project to date. The four-volume set goes beyond the printed page and includes all of the new photos and multimedia videos showcasing the guitars mentioned in the book.
