ASCAP’s annual Sundance ASCAP Music Café returns for the second time in virtual form, centering on artists and songwriters with a series of performances and interviews during the Sundance Film Festival January 21-24.
From January 21-22, the music café will feature performances by several ASCAP singer-songwriters, while ASCAP Screen Time talks with top ASCAP composers and their staff will take place from January 23rd to 24th.
This year’s performers include eight-time Grammy nominee Brandy Clark; Co-founder of LA punk band X, John Doe; Actor / singer Evan Rachel Wood with guitarist and singer / songwriter Zane Carney as EVAN + ZANE; Singer / songwriter and actress Hayley Sales; R&B singer / songwriter Jordan Hawkins; and Zimbabwean-American singer-songwriter / producer Shungudzo.
ASCAP Screen Time, a series of interviews focused on the art and business of music for screens, will feature conversations with Sharon Farber, Nina Menkes, Saul Williams, Anisia Uzeyman, Isabella “The Machine” Summers, Phyllis Nagy, Este Haim (von HAIM). and Christopher Stracey.

In person or virtual, we provide an intimate space to discover captivating performances and conversations with creators whose music resonates with audiences at the Sundance Film Festival and beyond. “
