Duran Duran has been stuck in a recording career for more than 40 years that has achieved a lot wild boys a lot of fame, fortune and maybe even induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
The British ’80s stars are the undisputed frontrunners of Rock Hall fan polls and with the announcement earlier this week of a long overdue North American tour, DD are guaranteed to spark even more chatter in the coming months.
On Wednesday evening (March 16), founding members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor stopped by The Late Late Show for a chat with his host James Corden and a performance of their 15th and latest studio album, future past.
Will Duran Bring Duran Rock Hall Fame In Her First Nomination? Time will tell, although a recent development helps their cause.

DD warmed up for their upcoming tour with a late-night performance of 2021’s “Tonight United.” future pastwhich plunged the UK Albums Chart to number 3, their highest chart position since the classic line-up (with Andy Taylor on guitar) reunited in 2004 astronautwhich also culminated in 3rd place.
Nile Rodgers and Chic will open for the boys as they embark on a 14-day trek through August and September that includes stops at Madison Square Garden in New York and the United Center in Chicago.
Before heading west, DD will be doing a round of shows in the UK and Europe, including a July 10th date in London’s Hyde Park.
As of this writing, Duran Duran leads the Rock Hall Fan Rankings with more than 638,500 votes, ahead of Eminem (559,000) and Pat Benatar (396,000).
