american idol has reached the sharp end of the season when only 10 competitors remain in the game.
One of them is Noah Thompson, the teenage construction worker for Louisa, Kentucky.
At the Top 10 Live reveal on Monday night (April 25), Thompson delivered the goods with a country version of John Mayer’s “Heartbreak Warfare.”
It was a dramatic night with Tristen Gressett eliminated and Lady K saved by the judges. For Thompson, there was no such drama.
“I’m such a private person,” Thompson said billboard before the live broadcast. “I think I’ll always be shy. I’m the type that stays in my room and does my own thing while everyone else goes out to eat.”
Shy or not, Thompson now has fans across America.
