Harry Styles topped the UK singles chart for six weeks with “As It Was”. Cat Burns could end his streak right there.
Based on sales and streaming data for the first 48 hours of the chart week, the South Londoner’s hit ‘Go’ trails leader Styles by just 2,000 chart sales.
Kendrick Lamar makes a big impression on the First Look charts as three tracks Mr. Morale and the big steppers Eyes on the top 10.
With “United In Grief” (No. 3), “N95” (No. 4) and “Die Hard” (No. 6), the US rapper has blasted the three hottest releases on the charts, the maximum allowed by an artist Album.
Sam Ryder, who represented Great Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with “Space Man”, also stormed high in the charts.
The TikTok star finished the competition in 2nd place with 466 points, behind only Ukrainian winners Kalush Orchestra, whose song “Stefania” benefited from an avalanche of public votes and finished the competition with 631 points.
Ryder’s Eurovision entry flies 78-8 in the UK charts after his impressive performance at the Grand Final in Turin, Italy over the weekend.
If it maintains its momentum, it would be Ryder’s first Top 1 and the first UK Eurovision entry to land in the top division since Scooch’s “Flying The Flag (For You)” in 2007.
The official UK Singles Chart will be presented late Friday.
