Justin Bieber paid tribute to his father, Jeremy Bieber, in a sweet Father’s Day post on Sunday (June 19) with a throwback picture of the father and son. In the blink of an eye, a pint-sized Justin is smiling while chilling by a river with his shirtless, tattooed dad. “Love you Pops!” Bieber wrote. “Happy Father’s Day! So much to look forward to. The best is yet to come! It’s an honor to be your son.”
The note was the first word fans have heard from Justin in days as the singer continues his recovery from complications from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. And while he didn’t mention his medical struggles in his Father’s Day note, the ramifications of his battle with the nervous disorder continue to impact JB’s summer schedule.
Last week, the singer pushed back the remaining dates of his Justice Tour as he follows doctor’s orders to rest.
Bieber, 28, revealed in a video two weeks ago that he is suffering from partial facial paralysis due to the viral infection and that his severe symptoms have forced him to put his Justice World Tour on hold to seek treatment. “Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is optimistic about his recovery and looks forward to taking to the streets again later this summer and performing for his fans overseas,” read a statement from AEG Presents, which shared the Announced postponement of rest of US data.
The postponements included a scheduled performance at Summerfest in Milwaukee on Thursday (June 24), as well as scheduled performances this week in Boston and St. Louis. Additional dates in Las Vegas (June 28), Glendale, Arizona (June 30) and Inglewood, California (July 2-3) are also impacted. The Justice Tour is scheduled to hit Europe in early August.
