There’s nothing like the magic of saying “I love you” by cooking your dad a meal he’ll never forget.

Father’s Day is the perfect opportunity to spoil your old man with his favourite food. It’s a time to get the family together, get outdoors and make some memories. And we have some brilliant Father’s Day recipes to keep him happy from dawn till dusk. With big-hitters like Jamie’s epic burger, quick flatbreads and a classic Old Fashioned cocktail all included, it’s the one true way to your dad’s heart this Father’s Day.

Get his day off to a cracking start with a timeless breakfast classic. Hot muffins and good-quality ham are essential for a top-notch eggs Benedict. The hollandaise makes more than you need, but it’s easy to refrigerate what’s left and use it like a mayo later in the week. Feel free to swap out the ham for smoked salmon or a portobello mushroom, if that’s your dad’s thing.

Quick flatbreads with avocado

Super-quick and simple to make, the great thing about these flatbreads is you don’t need any fancy equipment, and the dough only needs a short time to rest before you cook it. With minimal ingredients yet plenty of flavour, these are perfect for a last-minute Father’s Day lunch.

Fish finger sarnies

Ditch shop-bought fish fingers for these homemade sarnies – you won’t regret it.  Served in warm baps with minty mushy peas and tartare sauce made from scratch, these are sure to put a smile on your dad’s face.

Insanity burger

If you’re after an epic Father’s Day recipe, this burger ticks so many boxes. With crispy bacon, oozy cheese, tangy mustard and a dash of Tabasco Chipotle sauce, this is something really special. Feel free to swap in minced pork for minced beef here, or use a mixture of the two. Delicious served with baked sweet potato wedges and a crunchy slaw.

Looking for the ultimate Father’s Day gift? Get 25% off Jamie’s top kitchen knives. Whatever your dad likes to cook, these recipes will put a big smile on his face (or go the extra mile and rustle one of these up as a Father’s Day treat!)

Surf & turf

Impress Dad with an epic feast to remember! With barbecued steak, juicy king prawns and a vibrant mango salad, this is so good on a sunny summer’s day. Just add his favourite tipple. If you’re after the most satisfying slices of steak, make carving a breeze with Jamie’s premium Chef’s knife.

Brilliant bhaji burger

Inspired by an onion bhaji – and taken to another level with grated paneer and squash, fresh herbs and a kick of chilli – this is a fantastic option for dads who want a flavour-packed vegetarian option. And feel free to mix up the veg or use whatever curry paste you have. To make prepping the veg super simple, Jamie’s paring knife is the addition your kitchen needs.

Next-level steak & onion sandwich

Golden caramelised onions elevate the joy of this steak sandwich. To get the steak bang-on, check out our how-to cook guide. This dish is a wonderful dinnertime indulgence – serve him up this sandwich and put a smile on his face. And for epic slices, use Jamie’s bread knife.

Roast tikka chicken

You’ll only need five ingredients for Jamie’s twist on a Sunday roast, but you’ll end up with something totally delicious. With gnarly cauliflower, crispy potatoes and tender chicken, this is a proper crowd-pleaser. Up your carving game with Jamie’s slicing knife – that’s one way to impress Dad!

Tropical fruit plate

If you’re celebrating Father’s Day with an alfresco summer spread, this refreshing fruit salad will go down a storm. Think juicy pineapple, beautifully ripe mango, and watermelon topped with a minty sugar – what’s not to love? Good knife skills will make all the difference here, so make your life easier by getting the right tool for the job.

Super-quick salmon gravadlax

Sure to become Dad’s favourite, this dish is the epitome of elegant, fresh food and is so simple to make. Served with beautiful balsamic beets, horseradish sauce and rye bread, it’s a really special starter. Jamie’s Santoku knife is the ideal tool for slicing that salmon with precision.

Vegetable kebabs

If you’re firing up the barbecue this Father’s Day, these veggie kebabs are a guaranteed hit with kids and adults alike. This recipe is really flexible, so use whatever ingredients take your fancy – mushrooms, onion wedges, chunks of aubergine or feta would work a treat. Ideal for eating alfresco on a sunny day with a fresh green salad and warm flatbreads or pittas.

Salted caramel brownies

With swirls of gooey salted caramel, a crisp exterior and outrageously fudgy centre, these brownies are sure to make your dad’s day. The trick here is to bake a batch and leave it to cool for 1 hour before slicing, so you end up with perfectly formed squares. Chocolate heaven!

Elderflower lemonade with frozen berries

Is there anything more refreshing than an ice-cold glass of elderflower lemonade on a sunny day? It’s so easy to make this sweet, fragrant drink at home. It’s a brilliantly thirst-quenching option and looks so pretty, too!

Whisky old fashioned

Finish off a day of feasting by raising a glass of something special. If whisky is your dad’s thing, get a classic on the go. Or shake up this Whiskey sour – the lemon gives this sophisticated drink an edge. Cheers!
