Featuring everything from historic antique vehicles, a collection of mid-century modern furniture from Heywood-Wakefield, Southwestern jewelry, and a 1992 Dream Team signed basketball, Rivich Auction & Estates presents “How to Make It in America,” an auction not to be missed on Sunday, July 16.
The auction is comprised of several prominent estate collections and includes five historic vehicles from Whiting, Indiana, including a 1922 Ford Model T Standard Oil service truck, a 1925 Ford Model T Standard Oil tow truck and a 1935 Ford Model 18 Standard Oil fuel tanker to sell 5 historic antique vehicles.
Heywood-Wakefield has long been a favorite of mid-century modern furniture fans. While decidedly midcentury, Heywood-Wakefield is not trendy and the clean lines complement nearly any interior design style, and the quality is top-notch. The Rivich event features a Heywood-Wakefield Tambour door credenza, a desk and a Butterfly Dropleaf Wishbone dining table, among other items.
The 1992 United Stat’s men’s Olympic basketball team, nicknamed the “Dream Team,” was the first American Olympic team to feature active professional players from the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team has been described as the greatest sports team ever assembled. The ball for sale at Rivich is signed by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley and others.
