Love the Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher? Today we will learn how to cook this recipe at home. This drink is fruity and sweet, high in caffeine and packed with antioxidants.

The Strawberry Acai Refresher is Starbucks’ most popular soft drink, and with good reason! This recipe is so good.

Best of all, once you’ve made this basic recipe, all you have to do is replace the water with sweet coconut milk to make the pink drink at home.

Ingredients for a strawberry acai refresher

  • Freeze Dried Strawberries – These freeze-dried strawberries are an important part of the recipe as they give the drink that pleasant sensory experience as if there were dried pieces of fruit in the drink. This is what I like best about the refresher recipes!
  • Fresh strawberries – You will also need fresh strawberries to make the base syrup.
  • Sugar – White granulated sugar.
  • White Grape Juice – This will naturally sweeten your syrup recipe as this recipe uses less sugar than some of the other basic refresher recipes.
  • acai powder – I found my acai powder on Amazon.
  • Green Coffee Extract Powder – Green coffee bean extract powder adds a caffeine boost to your drink. If you want to decaffeinate your drink, omit this ingredient.
  • passion fruit powder – I found my passion fruit powder on Amazon.
  • lemon juice – For a nice citrus note.
  • Water
  • Ice

How to make the Strawberry Acai Refreshment Base

The basis is the syrup for your recipe. Once you’ve made this base, you can use the same base to make the Strawberry Acai Refresher or Pink Drink recipe.

For the base: Mix white grape juice, sugar and peeled and sliced ​​strawberries in a saucepan. Heat the syrup and simmer for 10 minutes, then set aside and allow the strawberry flavor to infuse into the syrup for another 10 minutes.

Strain the syrup and remove the strawberry pieces from the syrup. Pour the syrup back into the pot.

Return the syrup to low heat and add the acai powder, green coffee extract, passion fruit powder, and lemon juice. Whisk them together until fully blended. Transfer the syrup to a mason jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

How to mix a strawberry acai soft drink

In a shaker, combine some freeze-dried strawberries (keeping some aside to use as a topping at the end) and about 1/2 cup of the ground, and 1/2 cup of water with ice.

Shake the drink until fully mixed and pour over ice. Garnish with a few more pieces of freeze-dried strawberries.

Crafting tips

  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, use lemonade instead of water to mix with the base to make the drink. It tastes like a sweet strawberry lemonade drink.
  • To make a pink drink, use sweetened coconut milk instead of water.
  • To make your refreshment decaffeinated, simply omit the green coffee extract in this recipe.
