The rapper’s legal rep claimed Lauren Pisciotta’s sexual harassment accusations were “baseless” and said West planned to countersue
Kanye West says he’ll countersue his former assistant after she accused him of sexual harassment in a recent lawsuit. In a new statement to Rolling Stone Tuesday, West’s legal representative called Lauren Pisciotta’s accusations “baseless” and accused her of engaging in “blackmail and extortion” after he rejected her sexual advances.
“She was terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary) and numerous documented incidents of her lascivious, unhinged conduct,” alleged the statement sent by West’s publicist. Pisciotta was also accused of offering West sex on his birthday and sending him “unsolicited nude images.”
“It is well documented how Ms. Pisciotta consistently used sexual coercion in an attempt to demand not only money but material items,” claimed the statement, referencing a Hermes Himalayan Diamond Birkin bag, a Lamborghini, and plastic surgery.
The statement further alleged that after West rejected her advances, Pisciotta set a blackmail demand of $60 million last year. The legal rep claimed her new allegations were fabricated to gain media attention.
In her lawsuit against West, Pisciotta accused West of masturbating in front of her and sending her videos of himself having sex with a model.
Pisciotta did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment. On Tuesday, she shared a message on her Instagram story that read: “Your soul becomes aligned with freedom when you allow others the liberty to dislike you, judge you and disagree with you.”
In November 2022, Rolling Stone reported that former Yeezy employees claimed West showed them inappropriate photos of his then-wife Kim Kardashian. In the past, West has referred to a “full-on pornography addiction” that “destroyed my family” and to sex as a design inspiration.
