“We have a genius ladies and gentlemen, he solved the Middle East,” Seinfeld quipped
Jerry Seinfeld mocked a pro-Palestinian heckler who interrupted his stand-up set in Sydney, Australia on Sunday.
The comedian’s show was briefly disrupted when the heckler yelled about freeing Palestine during Seinfeld’s stand-up gig at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, as News.com.au reports.
“We have a genius, ladies and gentlemen. He solved the Middle East. He solved it,” Seinfeld quipped. “It’s the Jewish comedians, that’s who we have to get. They’re the ones doing everything.”
As the man kept yelling while he was being escorted away by security, per footage taken at the event, Seinfeld continued to roast the heckler. “They’re going to start punching you in three seconds, so I would try and get all your genius out so we all learn from you.” He added: “It’s a comedy show, you moron. Get out of here.”
While the man chanted “Palestine will be free” as he was being ejected, Seinfeld kept the roast going. “You’re really influencing everyone here. We’re all on your side now because you have made your point so well and in the right venue,” Seinfeld said to cheers from the audience. “You’ve come to the right place for political conversation.”
“Tomorrow we will read in the paper: Middle East 100 percent solved thanks to man at the Qudos Arena stopping jew comedian… You have to go 20,000 miles from the problem and screw up a comedian. That is how you solve world issues,” Seinfeld said.
Last month, the comedian was also heckled by a pro-Palestinian supporter at a Virginia show and his commencement speech at Duke University drew pro-Palestinian protesters. Seinfeld also recently made news for complaining about “the extreme left and PC crap” ending comedy and stifling creativity. His position has earned him the admiration of far-right influencers.
