Billie Eilish, Finneas, Gracie Abrams, Bad Bunny, Sexyy Red, and GloRilla were among the performers at the annual iHeartRadio Music Awards. The awards ceremony, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night, also saw Taylor Swift named Artist of the Year and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” named Song of the Year.
Eilish and Finneas opened the show, which aired live, after host LL Cool J’s welcoming monologue. The duo performed “Wildflower,” off Eilish’s most recent LP, Hit Me Hard and Soft. Eilish later accepted the award for Album of the Year for the release.
Bad Bunny took the stage for a rousing rendition of his song “EoO,” complete with crowd surfing over his crew of dancers.
Abrams, who won the Breakthrough Award, showcased her emotional single “That’s So True.” Eilish was on hand to present Abrams with her award. “I would not be here if it were not for the support, loyalty, creativity and true goodness of the fans,” the singer said in her acceptance speech. “So just thank you so much. You guys are my whole heart.”
Sexyy Red and GloRilla joined forces for a gold-themed performance of their collaborative single, “Whatchu Kno About Me,” which dropped last fall.
The awards ceremony also saw Muni Long and Tori Kelly teaming up for a medley of Mariah Carey songs (with Carey in attendance). The performance paid tribute to the pop singer before she was honored with the Icon Award.
Other winners included Lady Gaga, who took home the Innovator Award, and Nelly, who earned the Landmark Award. Taylor Swift won multiple trophies, including Tour of the Century, Pop Album of the Year, Favorite Tour Style, Best Music Video, and Favorite Tour Tradition. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars won Best Collaboration for “Die With a Smile” while Sabrina Carpenter won Pop Artist of the Year and Pop Song of the Year for “Espresso.”
