Fruit dip has always been one of my favorite pieces at a party.
The creamy, tangy texture of a cream cheese fruit dip (usually made fluffy and light by adding marshmallow fluff or cool whip) goes so well with just about any type of fruit. And it can be served at gatherings all year round.
These cream cheese and fruit dips take just 5 minutes to make, and you can whip up a vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, or caramel flavor in no time (serve just one flavor or multiple flavors side by side!).

How do you store cream cheese fruit dip?
You can store cream cheese fruit dip in the refrigerator for up to a week, as long as it’s in an airtight container. And you can put a layer of cling film over the dip for extra freshness.
Can you make cream cheese fruit dip ahead of time?
Yes! If you want to save some time on the day of your event, you can easily make this dip the day before and store it in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
Can You Freeze Cream Cheese Fruit Dip?
Yes, you can freeze cream cheese fruit dip, but be aware that the texture will likely change and become grainier after freezing.
What is the best way to soften the cream cheese?
The easiest way to soften cream cheese is to let it sit on the counter for 30 to 60 minutes before mixing.
If you’re in a hurry, you can still whip it up without going soft, but you’ll get a few small lumps in your dip. It won’t really affect the taste though (just the looks), so don’t worry if you don’t have the time.
Which fruit goes best with the fruit dip?
Almost any fruit goes well with a fruit dip, but things like apples, grapes, strawberries, bananas, orange slices, pineapple, and kiwi are probably our favorites.
You can also adapt it to a theme, e.g. For example, combine the chocolate fruit dip with strawberries for a Valentine’s Day party, or use red, white and blue fruits with the vanilla fruit dip for the 4th of July.
You can even use different types of apples with the caramel fruit dip for a fun fall treat.
Can you dip something else besides fruit?
Absolutely! Items like pretzels, graham crackers, pound cake, and vanilla waffles are also great choices to add to your fruit plate.
