Breitling Top Time 1967 Manual Wind Chronograph
This gold-capped (rolled gold) Top Time model from the late ’60s. More of a dress chronograph, this has a solid-capped case with a straight-scored silver dial, forty-five-minute chronograph dial, and gold narrow rapier hands. A very stylish piece, its high-domed acrylic crystal looks very striking against the gold monocoque case.
CWC Pilot ’80s Manual Wind Chronograph
The Cabot Watch Company (CWC) is a supplier of timepieces to HMS forces since 1972. The company still fulfills major contracts for the British Armed Forces, supplying dive watches, and specialist chronographs for all branches of the military.
Beitling Navitimer 1967 Manual Wind Chronograph
Some say the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc. specified this watch, while others say it was adopted after Breitling started building this watch, but it is difficult to gauge, as during Breitling’s troubles in the quartz era its records were lost. This watch is from between 1965 and 1969; the movement has the correct bridge, the movement code “WOG,” and its all Breitling.
Aquastar Deepstar 1966 Manualwind Chronograph
The engraving on this bezel is a match guide to a decompression table card that originally came with the watch to measure CO2 uptake over dives and guide decompression intervals. This watch has a very striking, original purple metallic dial, round, yellow indices with art deco marks at 12/6/9; the hands are military style block design, making them easy to see, and the Tritrium filing glows well, as do the spot hour markers.
